I can see it coming in handy particularly on vacations, when I have to stuff a backpack full of books (and then lug it around) in order to bring everything that I want to read. It would be so nice to just have one little neat, tidy, hand-held device for that! I've heard that they read really well too, even in stark sunlight. I’ve wanted a Kindle for a long time now! I don't want to curl up with a PDA-looking thing to read. Give me a paperback any day. I feel that way about the newspaper too.
